About Me

I am Ms Batman, and this is my blog.

In real life, I go by Becky.

I am a mom, a sister, a daughter, a cousin, a friend, a hero, a writer, a dork, a photographer and an embarrassment. Oh and a shoe whore.

I love cheesecake and margaritas.  Not necessarily together.  I also love stilettos and Captain Morgan.   I grew up the daughter of a preacher, so I wasn’t allowed to cuss.  I am making up for lost time now that I am an adult and living on my own.

I am raising two daughters to be divas.  It was not my initial goal, but it seems to be where we are headed.  Easier to accept it than it is to fight them.

I had a really great paragraph about the guy I dated and sometimes lived with for the past five years, but since that didn’t work out, I had to delete it.  I suppose I could be looking for his replacement, but really, raising drama tweens is a full time job I don’t have the time, energy or the boobs to go looking for another guy.

I have given birth three times.  My son Ian turned 18 in 2011 and even though I haven’t talked to him in over a year, I love him and pray for the day he opens the lines of communication between us again.  I have two daughters, Meredith and Megan. I really don’t write about them often on here.  They are teenagers and being a teenager is hard and awkward enough without it being splashed all over the internet. It’s embarrassing enough that Mom has a blog and shares TMI on the internet, they don’t want their life on here too.

This is my blog, and as the tag line says, it’s me uncensored.  I swear a lot, embarrass my family, over share my life, give out TMI, and barely use proper English or grammar or typing.  I love ellipses, and will almost always misuse commas.  I blog like I talk, well not quite, because I have been told I talk too much, and too fast. I’ve never been accused of blogging too much or too fast.

Comments and emails? Yes please.  I love both.  I respond to each and every comment or email so please, if you like something, let me know.  If you don’t, let me know that too.  I can handle it. I can handle anything, with a glass of wine.
